Chautauqua Sponsorships
 
Chautauquas are professional development workshops for teachers that are planned and hosted by the Golden Apple Academy, always held in the fall or winter months.
 
Sponsor Benefits:
·        100-125 teachers attend each event
·        Business logo appears on PEF website, event program and workshop materials
·        Vendor table is available at the workshop
·        Invitations to Grants For Great Ideas Showcase is included
$500 per Chautauqua workshop
 
 
Golden Apple Academy Sponsor
 
The Academy is comprised of all 50 Golden Apple teachers, who act as ambassadors for the Public Education Foundation. They volunteer at New Teachers’ Orientation, plan and host Chautauquas, assist with the Golden Apple Awards and volunteer at many other events. The Academy is expanding its role to include mentoring new teachers and assisting the MCPS Staff Development Department.
 
Sponsor Benefits:
·        Business logo appears on fliers sent to Academy members four times per year
·        Logo is highlighted on the Foundation Clipboard and on PEF website
·        Logo is printed on 1,500 copies of the Annual Report
·        Vendor space available at every Chataqua event and includes recognition on all workshop materials
·        Logo appears on 450 Golden Apple event programs
·        Promotional materials made available at each Academy meeting

Teacher to Be
 
$1000 scholarships for non-instructional employees who wish to go to college and get an education degree. The recipients agree to teach in Marion County for three years following graduation.

·        Specific scholarship is named after the sponsor
