Ways to Support the Public Education Foundation

• Come learn about us! Attend a Destination Education one-hour informational tour of the Foundation and its programs.  Check our events calendar for upcoming dates.
• Become a mentor for a Take Stock In Children student.
• Volunteer your time at an upcoming event or in our office. 
• Serve on a selection committee for Teacher to Be scholarships,  Grants for Great Ideas, or Golden Apple Teacher Awards.
• Become a business partner for a Marion County public school.
• Make a financial contribution to the Public Education Foundation.

Coupons for Education 

The Public Education Foundation's Coupons for Education sale has raised over $1.1 million since the campaign began in 1993.  This is a district-wide fundraiser that provides schools with an opportunity to sell coupon books filled with hundreds of dollars worth of discounts to local businesses.  Marion County schools use the proceeds to buy classroom equipment and create special programs. 

License for Learning 

Support education when you renew your license tag!  Each sale and annual renewal for the "License for Learning" tag in Marion County provides $20 for programs and initiatives of the Public Education Foundation.  Contact your local tag agency for details.
